This is a watercolours picture of an embankment along the Dnepr in Kremenechuk. A lot of it comes from my memory, but one photograph of 1952 has also provided elements for the background. It was only seven years after the WW2 and quite a short time to clear the ruins and build something. As kids, we used to play in the ruins and it was so exciting.
